Integrity, SHA256, and signatures
After the ZIP finishes downloading, compare its SHA256 to the published digest. A mismatch means a corrupt or altered file. Digital signatures on the installer can lag in SmartScreen reputation databases; that alone is not proof of malware.

Antivirus and SmartScreen
Windows Defender SmartScreen has flagged Resolve installers as unrecognized after signature changes. Blackmagic forum threads describe this as a false positive while reputation catches up. Cross-check the hash above, scan with a second engine if required by your workplace, then proceed only if the digest matches.
